About

Dianna is an executive nonprofit leader with nearly 30 years of experience advancing mission-driven organizations through strategic leadership, operational development, fundraising, communications, and organizational growth.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Human Resources and maintains her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) distinction.

Dianna began her professional career in education before transitioning into nonprofit leadership, where she discovered a passion for connecting people, purpose, and philanthropy to strengthen communities and create lasting impact. Her journey into nonprofit work began unexpectedly when she sought to provide basketballs for underserved children on San Antonio’s West Side. What started as a simple effort to meet a practical need became the beginning of a deeply meaningful career dedicated to service, advocacy, and community engagement.

Before joining The Cibolo Center for Conservation, Dianna spent many years in the health and human services sector, including seven years with Children’s Association for Maximum Potential (CAMP), where she worked alongside individuals with significant disabilities and their families. Those experiences helped shape her leadership philosophy and strengthened her commitment to building organizations where people feel valued, included, and connected.

Her career spans both conservation and health and human services organizations, giving her a broad understanding of how strong leadership, community engagement, and organizational systems work together to create meaningful and lasting impact.

Throughout her career, Dianna has led initiatives focused on strengthening infrastructure, improving operations, guiding organizational change, expanding fundraising capacity, developing high-performing teams, and increasing community engagement. Her work often takes place at the intersection of strategy, communication, operations, and culture, helping organizations build stronger foundations for long-term sustainability.

Currently serving as Chief Advancement Officer for The Cibolo Center for Conservation, Dianna provides leadership across advancement, strategic organizational initiatives, communications, marketing, donor engagement, volunteer services, and event rentals. In addition to overseeing fundraising and external relationships, she has played a key role in strengthening internal systems, formalizing organizational procedures, modernizing operational practices, supporting leadership transition efforts, and helping position the organization for future growth.

She is especially passionate about helping people feel connected, valued, and welcomed within the organizations and communities they serve.

Beyond
the Office

“Some of my favorite titles in life have nothing to do with my career.”

Dianna is the proud mom of Jacob, a 20-year-old currently navigating the adventure known as nursing school, and has been married to her husband, Tim, for 27 years. Together, they love traveling, spending time with friends, going to concerts, and laughing hard enough that someone eventually says, “Okay, stop… my stomach hurts.”

Outside of work, Dianna’s favorite kind of downtime is much quieter: curling up with a good book, listening to music, and enjoying the rare gift of an unscheduled evening.

She believes life should include meaningful work, strong relationships, plenty of laughter, and at least one great playlist for every road trip.
